BUTTONS

Its time again for another fortnightly challenge over at LET'S CRAFT & CREATE.  The theme this fortnight is BUTTONS.

For this challenge I wanted to make some magnetic fabric covered buttons.  When I have made these in the past I always found it hard trying to find fabric with a small enough pattern.  So I had an idea and it worked!!

I used some digital paper and reduced the size and printed it onto transfer paper and then transferred that to some white cotton fabric.  Then I just made the button in the usual way and then added a magnet to the back.

Check out the other design teams creations and join in the fun.

A SPLASH OF COLOUR

I can't believe it has nearly been a month since I last made a post.  Life is just hectic for me at the moment.  This time of year is really busy on the farm and all my spare time I have been trying to get things ready for a craft stall I am having on the 8th December.

Anyway enough of me talking.  The challenge over at Let's Craft & Create is titled "A SPLASH OF COLOUR".

I really wanted to have a go at some punch art and decided to make a Sesame Street themed card.  I really enjoyed making this card and I am pleased with the finish result.  My neice was very happy to receive it.

Have some fun and join in our challenge and you may be the lucky random winner of a wee gift.

THINGS WITH WINGS

Today is the day for another fortnightly challenge over at LET'S CRAFT & CREATE.  The theme this fortnight is "THINGS WITH WINGS".

I got my inspiration to make this card from Pink Petticoat.  They have released some really nice Birthday sentiments.  A must to check out.

After printing the sentiment on a blank piece of white card I blew the dust off my sewing machine and stitched around the edge and using 3d tape added this to the base.  The butterfly punch is a Martha Stewarts.  To finish off the card I added some self adhesive flat back pearls to each butterfly.

Take some time out of your busy lives and make yourself a cuppa and go on over to LETS CRAFT & CREATE and see the rest of the teams projects.  It would be great for you to enter and you may be the random winner to win a very sweet Papertrey Ink fillable frames # 6 Stamp Set.
